This blog is an experiment in openness. It is a place where everyone is both audience and artist.

Each week we post instructions for a creative project. Make poetry out of conversation you overhear at a coffee shop, we might request. Or draw what you had for breakfast. Or take a picture of a stranger jumping rope.

We hope this will help people to use the Internet in a way that is productive and creative. And we hope it will impel us all to learn about other people, our surroundings and ourselves.
