I gave this mix away as a gift for Christmas -- I don't think there's much
of an appetite here for mysterious mixes left in public places. I stitched
the case together from some scraps of local fabric and a small sewing kit
I'd brought with me to Khartoum.

Assignment #009 – Music Gift

Make a mix cd, possibly around a theme like the weather or a location or a feeling, then leave it in a place where it will most likely be found and listened (ex., coffee shop, book store, bus stop, etc.). Be sure to write the web address for Would You Jump Rope on the cd and hopefully we will get to hear some stories of how the cds were found. Optional: you can also just give someone a mix cd.

The submission for this assignment is some kind of documentation. Examples include a list of your songs, a story about what happens when you leave it for someone to find, or a photograph of your cd.

Due date: December 16, 2009

Edit: Deadline extended until Jan. 5, 2010. Do it!
